k8 industries™ is an experimental version of kate madden. k8 provides graphic design, art direction, opinionated feedback and visual problem solving services to a variety of clients and occasionally even works on her own secret projects from time to time.she likes long walks on the beach, holding hands, a sophisticated color palette and type that is well-kerned.
she hates capital letters, comic sans, and writing in the third person.
(the gallery below i like to think of as bonus material...it is a small book i helped to create as a pitch to a custom tile manufacturer way back in the days when i helped make ads. they didn't like the concept, but i believe the ideas and images are pretty darned lovely and its been kicking around my hard drive looking for a home. who says beauty has to sell stuff all the time anyway?)
