hello good people,
we have some good and bad news, well it’s all good news since it’s about good ,just a change of our calendar for july. our good friend and friend of good colleen flanigan received a individual artist grant from RACC to produce her works entitled “slideways”. so “slideways” will be taking the calendar slotof july away from “revolution”(sorry jason).
in other news, there is still a week to come by the gallery and check out mary blankenburg’s installation “overfloe”. poor little polar bears. there is also still a week to get your robots done for “robot love 2010″. the deadline for submissions for consideration is sunday the 31st. then our first big opening of 2010 on the 5th of febuary.
see you all soon!
scott

hello good people, i heard today that 2010 is going to be “the year of awesome!” . can you believe it? well here at the good gallery we are going to do our very darnedest to make it happen.in 2010 we are mixing up our approach to our shows. we will still have group themed shows but not every month, we are peppering in some solo shows as well.
2010-the year of awesome!
january -”overfloe”- an instalation by mary blankenburg.
febuary -”robot love”- group show.
march -”between a thought and a thing”- recent works by mike wellins.
april - “creepy crawlies”- our group bug show for spring.
may - new work by nicky kriara.
june - wire sculpture by luke osowki.
july-”revolution” a group show.
august -”the cutting edge”- a group show.
september - new work by scott foster.
october - “things that go bump in the night”- a group show.
november- new work by john keshar wendroth .
so thats our little input into the year of awesome , some of the later group shows are not written in stone yet so there might be some subtle changes, but as usual we will give you as much warning as we can. all you good artist out there who have or are planning on making work for our group shows please let me know early so i can get all excited and stuff.
so there is still a little more time to check out “the present” we will be open this weekend and we would love to see you all.

scott
hello and happy halloween good people.
we want to invite you to come and join us this halloween to carve pumpkins at the gallery , we will be starting to cut and slash at the orange globes around four on saturday afternoon, and there is a small rumor that john might be deep frying some foul of some sort. we’ll have some knives and some pumpkins on hand, we’re hoping to light up the top of the gallery with glowing orange globes for the ghoulish evening. this is also the last weekend to see “things that go bump in the night” i think it’s one of our best shows so far so i hope you can check it out be fore it comes down on sunday.
speaking of the end of this show it is also the deadline on sunday for submissions for our november show “GLUTTONY”. this cornicopia of copiuosness will open next friday the first friday of november , the fourth from seven to ten. so let me know if you have some guttonous work for this show.
one more point of interest. we are changing the theme for december’s show to “the present”. there will be more on that in the near future. i just wanted to give every one a heads up.
thanks my good ghoulies,
scott
