“creepy crawlies” is opening tonight! we have almost thirty artist taking part in our spring entomology explorations. we have a slug with stalin’s face, a giant ant ,rotting magots, flying beetles , dried frog legs, metal mega-pedes, mothman ,flies, and guido the cockroach lover. the opening reception is tonight april 2nd from seven to ten, i am hoping the big storm the weatherman has been talking about is a bunch of hot air and we’ll have a lovely spring evening. if you can’t make it tonight, we’ll be open saturday and sunday afternoons all month.

in other news “feedlot” came down at the red e cafe and if you purchased a cow they are ready for pick up. just ask the barista for your cow.  if you didn’t get a chance to get your own little heffer i have a small heard in the office at good.

hello all, just checking in to remind you of all the good things going on. the first and most exciting thing is that it is the last weekend to see mike wellins’ show. those of you who have already seen the show and purchased a piece, you can pick them up this sunday before six pm. i am willing to part with them on saturday if you’re in the area. for you people who haven’t seen the show or want to re-visit there are a few pieces still available.

the second thing is that the dead line for submissions for consideration to be in next weeks show “creepy crawlies” is also this sunday at six. if your work is ready feel free to bring it by on saturday afternoon. from what i’ve seen so far i think it will be a very interesting show.

on a personal sculptural note. the third good thing i wanted to remind you of is my show “feedlot” over at the red e cafe.  the corn didn’t survive the warm climate of the coffee shop so well ,but the cows are still doing great! i think the feedlot will be up for at least another week so enjoy the coffee and the cows.

on good news , mike wellins’ show “between a thought and a thing ” has raised over a thousand dollars for earthquake relief. wow! thank you every body who made that possible. mike you rock! there is still a handful of pieces left if you want an awesome painting for a great cause.

and a reminder to all you good artists. the deadline for submissions for our april show” creepy crawlies” is the 28th of march. let me know if you have any questions. our next group show is a ways out, it will be ” the cutting edge” in august.

i can’t believe there is only one more weekend of robot love before march rolls in with our first solo show. mike wellins is going to put us all” beween a thought and a thing” with his interesting and whimsical paintings. if you have come to the gallery then you seen mikes work , he has had a piece in almost all of our group shows. his work always makes me smile and think if not full on laugh out loud. this is one of mikes first solo painting shows so we would love for all you good people to come out and check it out on the evening of march 5th .

robot love 2010 is here. i hung the show last night and it is super fun. we had almost twenty artist supply work , including charles daniels, mike wellins, kalina torino, nelson lowry, loren hillman, jen prokopowicz, and many more. the reception will be friday febuary 5th from seven to ten. we’re hoping hump-bot will find his way back . also we got a little write up in mix magazine for the gold and silver  chocolate robot valentines i made with alma chocolates , they are delicious and available at the opening.
