don’t come to good on saturday the 22nd of august! we will not be open do to the running of the portland adult soap box derby!
i’ve been working with an elite crew on developing one of the most impressive gravity fueled vehicles for this near mile long race around the volcano that is mount tabor! the racing starts at ten in the morning. i suggest you show up before noon to see all the wonderful art cars running and before the elimination rounds of pure gravity aggression in the afternoon.
this will be the third year i’ve been part of team evil racing. our car is manateevil.it was originally conceived in the florida room in the winter of 2006. our concept was ; what would be more menacing on a west coast volcano than a evil manatee racing down the mountain, so we named our vehicle manateevil. and it’s been evolving into it’s name ever since. here is a little clip from our test run.
good will hope fully be open on sunday if all limbs are still attached and functional. i want to remind everybody that the dead line for submissions for September’s “preserved” show is coming up next weekend. with the opening on september 4 th. i can’t wait to see what every body has been saving for!
i hope to see you all up on the track on saturday. wish us luck we’ll be the number 8 car !
